The "power" we are referring to is found in Acts 1:8 and is not just for adults, but kids too! Through exciting Children's Church and Thursday night Kid's Power Hour, the children will grow into a powerful relationship with Jesus Christ!

Home Friendship Groups are an effective and proven ministry and is as Apostolic as the Books of Acts! It is the perfect way for a church to improve the retention of new converts by providing a place for them to gather in small groups and build relationships with others and the Lord Jesus Christ. It gives new Christians a support structure to help them in their knowledge of living for God and provides a means of promotion and training for ministry to the more experienced saints.

We are so excited about what God is doing through the Music Department and the Word Alive Adult Sanctuary Choir! He's mending broken hearts and the setting the captives free. For over thirteen years our Food Bank Ministry has tried to meet the needs of our community, both physically and spiritually.

Over the years, it has become more than a ministry or distribution of food, but we have become a family. We take prayer requests from the participants as well as have special prayer for them while they are waiting to be served. We thank the Lord for what He has done and what He is going to do in the future of this needed ministry to the needy!

• We support our Mississippi Ladies Ministries in planning and performing and promoting the annual Conference.

The Daughters of Zion are committed to the spiritual preservation of this generation and beyond and the spiritual restoration of previous generations. Our Method: To mobilize the women of our community to unify in focused prayer for the salvation and safety of our children.

Why Focus Prayer? It is time to take decisive action against the subtle encroachment of evil that has targeted our children for destruction. We must not sit idly by and allow the apple of our eye to cease. Together, we the Daughters of Zion will make a difference!

We are excited about what God has called his young people to do! Our purpose is to get every young person involved, by equipping them to pursue and develop into the ministry that God has called them to do. Generation Now gives them a place and purpose in God's calling of reaching the lost and keeping those we win. The youth of today are searching for power, we have the greatest power ever known. They are searching for a thrill. We have found that living in an intimate relationship with Jesus is a thrill beyond words. We have what the young people of this community are looking for and we intend to let them all know about it!

For over four years, the Word Alive Radio Broadcast has aired on WOSM radio in Ocean Springs, MS. Bro. Dobbs worked at that station for nearly 10 years and now is putting his radio experience to work to methodically teach the Word of God on a daily basis. His verse by verse commentary gives the listener a chance to expose and discover the many "golden nuggets" that lie just below the surface of every scripture.

"It is amazing to me how may listeners have written, or e-mailed me to let me know how much they have been blessed by this ministry. It seems I meet at least one person or so a week that tells me they listen every day. To God be the glory and may it only to serve to bless His children and His Kingdom!"

When I was first appointed as the More to Life Bible Study Coordinator for the MS District Ladies Ministry, I went right to work promoting this wonderful outreach tool, specifically designed for women. Then one day in prayer, the Lord impressed me to take this study to the women inmates in the regional corrections institution in our local area. After talking with the right people, I was given permission by the Head Chaplain to begin the studies. It has been a rewarding experience to sow the seed of the Word in such an unlikely garden, but I believe it will come to fruition one day in His time. I thank the Lord for the women that I have been allowed to impact and pray for them daily that they will come to Jesus in a real and personal relationship!

Foreign Missions is my heartbeat. I look forward to sending our PIM offerings to the over 20 missionaries and their families, that we support monthly. We believe that God has called us to impact the world. It is exciting to know that Word Alive Revival Center has a international influence on the end-time ministry of the church of Jesus Christ. We firmly believe that the reason God has prospered us in Wiggins to allow us to have such a beautiful facility, is because we were willing to "cast our bread upon the water" and it has "returned on every wave!"

There is a a significant spiritual attack that has been mounted against the anointed of God in this last days. The enemy of our souls is doing everything he can to try to abort the end-time revival that is underway. My vision is to encourage and promote around the clock prayer and fasting coverage for our pastor, his wife and their children, as well as the ministry staff of our church. It is my desire to promote their God-given vision and help bring God's destiny for Word Alive Revival Center into fruition. The victory will be attained on our knees in prayer!
